The J-20 is outside of the 5th generation fighter circle. Not enough is known about the Su-57. Russia has only 3 or 4 and they do not fly beyond Russian air space. The Nazi's were the first to utilize jets, but it didn't help them much.

The UK is the 6th largest economy in the world. Also 50% of the world's important inventions came from the UK going on a Canadian research. Also Japan completed a similar research project. They concluded that Britain was responsible for 55% of the world's inventions and innovations. Plus the UK is 3rd largest holders of American debt. Of around $800 billion dollars.

Hmmmm... The development and production of sixth generation fighter jets requires huge investments. Many countries may not be able to afford such programs, which could lead to economic instability and unequal allocation of resources 😘🥰😘🥰😘🥰

Too true. Minimalised the Defence budget? Lol. Understatement, Crippled it. At 50 million a piece, build price, this is another can that will be kicked down the road

"In service by 2035, " given the way that the world political situation has nosedived in the past couple of years, even 2030 is probably too late. Anyway, given the British government's usual form, Britain will have canned the project (or at least, Britain's involvement in it) long before then, on the grounds of cost.

UK/Italy/Japan are a winning team! Though we must NEVER give any GCAP access to Germany and/or in particular, France, as it'd be an open invitation for the loathsome EU central institution to subvert the project.
