Factor Analysis: Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) Part 1

This is a lecture I gave at the 6th psychometric summer school organised by the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, August 2019.
This lecture introduces the principles and steps of EFA. It focuses on the logic and principles of EFA arising from simple structure assumptions about how items group together. It explains maximum likelihood estimation and underlying regression matrices implied by factors.
