We’ve all known for years that Robyn uses her “tears” to manipulate others. But what’s disappointing is that her two oldest daughters have learned to do the same.

Robyn acted as if she felt so bad for hurting Christine but that sure didn't keep her from kissing him when Christine was giving birth 🙄 She kissed him goodbye that day and didn't think an ounce about Christine's feelings and they were not married yet when Truley was born !!! So her big show on the couch was just that, a show and BS !! She didn't care for any of her sister wives !

I rewatched the TLC "Kiss" clip. "Robyn said: "I remember BEING UPSET because I'd hurt you. I knew it would be complicated, but I didn't know it would BREAK MY HEART as well."
Robyn manages to turn herself into a victim and Kody seems to be concerned about HER emotional well-being.
This was just the beginning. The perpetual victimhood continues to this day.

Sleeping over at her house with little ones present also not cool. It is possible for a man to have an affair in polygamy. Inserting in the wrong wife in the wrong night, sleeping at a girl friend’s house, kissing before the sealing ceremony. Janelle just didn’t think it was the hill to die on. Christine was genuinely hurt. Meri was just wronged.

Ben is spot on. Kody feigns patriarchy to get what he wants and manipulate others. And Robyn manipulates every traumatic issue to be all about her hurt feelings. 😢 They make a good pair. Kody then guilts the other wives because they caused Robyn’s phony distress. Pull-eze.

I remember seeing this scene when it first aired, and how Robyn made the situation with Christine all about how much SHE (Robyn) was hurting. It seemed like she was initially smiling and then covered her face with her hand and cried without showing any real tears. I thought at that time "This chick is gonna destroy this family."

I spotted Robyn's manipulation tactics from the word go. My mother would use this whenever confronted with something hateful she did or said. She did it to shut me up and drop it. It always worked because I knew she was faking and didn't want to deal with it so I just walked away, and I didn't comfort her.

I think the word that Ben is looking for when you end up consoling someone who hurt you is narcissism.

What he's referring too with the way people react to YOUR feelings by making it all about theirs is the damn narcissist that Robyn is. So is his brother. This guy has been surrounded by narcissists and when you have come from a group of them, you eventually get to this place where you can no longer tolerate even one second of it from Anyone. I am glad he's able to put a voice to it and doesn't have to tippy toe around any of these idiots.
