this type of tailgate seems so logical to me. we use a 2014 skoda octavia which has same type of tailgate. i dont see why more sedans have it.

Like the interior of this car! As a whole, I tend to like this one a bit more then most modernay BMW's. It somehow has a bit more of the flair the models of the 70s and 80s all had, the golden years of BMW

She's clear, concise and organized. Great speaking voice and touches on all the pertinent points. I'm glad she does address the price disadvantage because for a "very similar" 3 don't know if I'd spend the extra money for this 4-Series...

I am a lifelong BMW enthusiast but right now I HATE almost every one of the cars that thay make. In the past few years BMW has lost all conception of what being an exclusive brand is. All they car about now is getting as many people as possible to buy their cars. In the past BMWs were what mad you work those few extra hours to afford one.
The new models is just way too much. In the early 2000s, they had a nice range of cars:
3-Series Saloon
3-Series Touring
3-Series Coupe
3-Series Convertible
5-Series Saloon
5-Series Touring
7-Series Saloon
Z3/4
X5
These are all the cars anyone could ever need.

But now:
1-Series 3-door
1-Series 5-door
2-Series Coupe
2-Series Convertible
2-Series Active Tourer
3-Series Saloon
3-Series Touring
3-Series Gran Tourismo
4-Series Coupe
4-Series Convertible
4-Series Gran Coupe
5-Series Saloon
5-Series Touring
5-Series Gran Tourismo
6-Series Coupe
6-Series Convertible

WHO THE HELL NEEDS ALL THESE CARS???

The 2-Series Active Tourer is another argument as well. Would you call a 1.5L FRONT WHEEL DRIVE a BMW because I sure wouldn't. This car is just BMW's way of saying we dont care about exclusivity anymore we just want to really maximize every cent of possible profit.

No naturally aspirated engines is also a joke. So much for The Ultimate Driving Machine. All a real driver wants is a big naturally aspirated engine up front, a six-speed box in the middle and all power going to the rear. "Turbochargers are for people who cant build engines" - Mr. Cosworth. "Forced induction is a way of cheating on horse power" -

New M cars have also lost their edge. When have you ever heard of an Eco-friendly M car? BMW seems to think they should be. Why cant, even if every other one of their cars were diesel yokes, the M Cars be fire-breathing V8s and V10s? (Sorry if I sounded like Clarkson there!)

The 'E' numbers have also got out of hand. It was great when the E46 covered all of the 3-Series'. Now there is F30-F31-F32-F33-F80-F82, i mean does the M3 really need a whole new number, so far away from the normal 3? And the next 5-Series will be the G30. That means that 120 numbers were skipped instead of 5 from the E34 to the E39.

I really hope somebody has made it this far!! That's my rant over now, leave me alone with my E39 and I'll be happy!!!

I don't hate on this car, not compared to abominations such as the X4 or the 5 and 3-series GT. I see why you would consider this over a normal 3-series sedan.
