You can set up recurring transfers from an external bank with Ally to go directly into your new bucket you created for various timeframes. That will avoid you doing the manual transfers.

They normally pull it out like 2 business days before so if you get paid on March 30, you can set up a transfer like on April 1, so you’ll be all set.

Definitely have a bit more than $10k for your duplex. Start researching closing costs, extra fees in the process and any possible maintenance/repairs or new appliances you might have to cover on your own. Plus furniture! Everyone forgets that. Hope that helps!

Where do you live.? 200k for a duple or house. I live in california the bay area and you cant even get a mobile home for that price. Homes are 900k to 1.6milion 😰
