Health authorities ordered to punish those violating vaccination order following suspicious report

South Korea is continuing to steadily vaccinate the highest-risk groups against COVID-19.
Up until today, there had been a handful of mild adverse side effects reported, but in the past hour or so, we are hearing two people have suffered severe adverse reactions.
The government is also concerned as some people may have managed to get shots before their turn,... violating the nation's vaccination order.

South Korea's health authorities are following up on a recent report that said a relative of the head of a nursing hospital's foundation cut the line for a COVID-19 vaccine.
During a meeting Wednesday, South Korea's Prime Minister called the news 'deplorable.'
"The vaccination order is the nation's social commitment based on science and facts that was decided upon by experts. The government can't tolerate anything that violates society's trust or causes social conflict. The health authorities should probe this matter and take strong countermeasures."
Chung also urged health authorities to consider using the AstraZeneca vaccine for people over 65... adding the efficacy of that vaccine on older adults has been internationally proven and approved.
As of Wednesday, more than 87-thousand people in South Korea have gotten their first dose.
Of those, just over 15-hundred received Pfizer's vaccine.
More than 150 people have reported minor side-effects such as headaches and fevers.
However, two elderly male patients in nursing hospitals suffered severe reactions Wednesday in Gyeonggi-do Province.
Starting Sunday... another vaccination plan will starts for frontline workers... including paramedics and quarantine officers.
