With this method I found out that on 26 January, 1950 it was Thursday.

26 Jan 1950 -- was Thursday
1600- 0 odd days.
300- 1 odd days.
49- 12 leap year, 37 ordinary year
24+37= 61 odd days
= 5 odd days.
26/7 january - 5 odd day .
Total odd day= 1+5+5=11 odd days= 4 odd days

Apne jo ans diya wo 23rd day ke hesab se diya. Asan bhasa me 22 din ke bad konsa din hoga

Ssc cgl me is type se question ghumaye gaye hain pahele bhi.
*always focus whether question is asking after 23 days or on 23rd day*
