Priceless Theo just made me want to watch the debate. I have watched a dozen Roman Catholic versus Protestant debates and it's usually when you question the Catholics they will attack the scripture.

William mopped the floor in this debate. Theo couldn’t deal with the Canon of Scripture and couldn’t prove Sola Scriptura from the Bible.

It reminds me of how Muslims find any possible similarities between Moses and Muhammad, claiming that Muhammad was a prophet like Moses and thus prophesied in Deut 18. Theo is arguing like a Muslim.

Just like Muhammad thought he was getting infallible revelations from God, and so did moses and the biblical prophets. Yet we can say one is right and one is wrong.

The problem is that Jesus said they sit on the seat of moses which is not in the old testament confirming the truthfulness of the tradition. Jesus celebrated the festival of lights which is never commanded to be done even by the deuterocanon. This is simply a fallacy if x says they are x but is really y then no other group can be x

Why then listen to fallible and unnecessary Protestant Pastors, when we have the infallible Holy Scriptures?
6 of the 12 Apostles taught with oral authority and never wrote anything down! Protestant must admit that they can never know with infallible certitude what Jesus Christ meant by "this IS MY BODY ", or who the rock is in Matthew 16, as Scripture ALONE is infallible, thus making all their interpretations, FALLIBLE! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink!

A fallacy of equivocation on Theos part. Just because the Pharisees distorted their traditions doesn't then make Apostolic traditions in error. I'm not Roman Catholic but II Thessalonians 2:15 says to keep the Apostolic traditions. If Sola Scriptura is true, the church at Thessaloniiki failed out the gate.
