Ok cool! How do you set up drumpads? Because that seems to be an issue for me. I have the Arturia minilab MKII. I have searched its manual 6 times looking for these instructions.

I have a MK-4902. I follow the steps but it won't work. Could it be that this Keyboard is very old? the brand is Kaysound.

I’ve done everything with buffers and all the basic stuff and I’m using USB MIDI and I can’t get a SLIGHT LATENCY removed. I can’t play to recorded music accurately by. milliseconds. It’s a fancy pants IMAC and used a shitty PC before with a tenth of the processing power and had the same problems before I put a n M-AUDIO PCI card with MIDI hook ups and solved the problem. I don’t have MIDI hook ups on my m audio now. Nor does my interface...should I buy an actual MIDI controller with MIDI hookups. Is the USB is what sucks? It can’t be the computer, but it could be software. I’m using reason 11. I’m so frustrated. It’s just like several milliseconds...I can go in and manually fix by dragging impacts physically...but THAT SUCKS ASS. Buffers, sample rate, changing USB cables to make sure it’s 2.0. I have Yamaha TF1 that rocks but no MIDI input. I just run both into my Mac via USB and the USB/CPU for the TF1 handles tons of tracks with effects and I can record guitar over thirty tracks no latency. If I try to play piano or something not with tons of delayed or reverb or arpeggio disco crap it doesn’t keep up. I’m hitting just behind the beat. This is even playing live. I’ve read ASIO helps but I think that’s PC...iMac shouldn’t be the problem. I’m using a crappy MAUDIO key49 or whatever with NO MIDI output/input. Just USB. I don’t want to spend another couple hundred bucks on a MIDI key board that I can’t even hook up to my Mac without buying new MIDI hardware interface...which will go through USB still!! Argh!! HELP!!
