I like this, it forces both studios to be on-top of their game. They know they will be compared to each other. Competition is good for progress. Looking forward to both films.

Godzilla MV has to be careful not to step on Lego

Fun fact. The reason why it's called Minus one is bc after Japan was hit by the A bomb it dropped the country to ZERO but when The Big G comes along. It simulates Japan =0 minus 1 =Godzilla taking the country to the negatives!

Im excited to see what Toho does with this movie. Tbh I would like if toho would keep giving us one off Godzilla movies with a new design. Its awesome to live in a time where we go 4 different Godzilla designs and stories to happen in the past decade.

Monsterverse Godzilla will always be my favorite.
Though the Minus 1 design is relatively good, it's design just feels like it's made for the OG 90s fans as a tribute to the japanese design.
The monsterverse ver. had a more modernizd look. I just like it better.

Toho's Godzilla is a Tyrannical Godzilla. Pretty ironic. Even so, Legendary's Godzilla is still my favorite, many will say that this version of Toho is the "realistic" face of Godzilla... they are partly right. Toho's Godzilla is an animal, Legendary's Godzilla is an even more evolved being, it goes beyond "environmental adaptation", because it evolved based on a concept of preservation even greater than "environmental adaptation". From what I think, both are realistic, except that one is a truly evolved being and the other an animal with a monster complex. The human is so blinded by his own crudeness that he thinks that realism is crudeness.

Really the only thing I wish is that Godzilla minus one he would be like 355 feet or somewhere around there I don’t want to watch a movie with a very classic small Godzilla I mean I like the classics but I’d like it to be a bit bigger

I like Minus One's more cat-like approach to Godzilla, very reminiscent of the Heisei era Godzilla. Although I'm still not a fan of the Ultima sized legs, it just doesn't look that great in my opinion. But overall it's a good Godzilla design. For me though Monsterverse takes the win over this interpretation, also Monsterverse Godzilla has 4 toes.

Minus One's designs do look way better than Shin Godzilla's, and he seems very lively too. Minus One does have some stances and expressions that I've wanted to see 9 years ago, but the Monsterverse Godzilla has grown on me since I first watched him on the big screen. In fact, the Monsterverse Godzilla's design got better updates. However, I want to show more nostalgic appreciation for the 2014 model. So the Monsterverse is still my favorite Godzilla, but I will check out Minus One to find what he's all about.

R u insane???
Toho Godzilla only 200 feet????

My friend in 1954 based on skyscrapers present in Tokyo 160 ft high was perfect but now I. Am sure with so. Much revamp I highly doubt it will be 200 ft high...
At least 400 ft tall if not Won't do justice if its 200 ft tall

Both are great designs as far as I'm concern.👍👍

One's bigger then other one is no doubt smaller. One was discovered in 1954 the other was discovered after WW2 ended. One fought monsters in the modern day the other is fighting humans in the 1940s. One has a franchise and the other one only has one movie.

The dorsal spines have to be among the best of all Godzilla's in the series when it comes to Minus One.

Moving on with the differences, Minus One Gojira looks almost similar to Titanus Gojira with the combination of Heisei/Millennium Gojira. Toho respected the US version that they made theirs almost similar to the Titanus Gojira but, much more sinister and aggressive.

I think the one thing I don’t like of monster verse is how square his head is. I get it’s supposed to be modernized but it feels too much of a departure from the og. I like it for what it is though, it’s a solid realistic head but I feel like they could’ve done something different

While I wish he was a bit larger, minus one is my favorite Godzilla design. His overall scared and rough appearance make him look more like a result of brutal evolution. And the head specifically is perfect

Monsterverse Godzilla will always be my favorite current take on Godzilla. To me he is a modernized more updated version of the showa era G-man done in all the right ways.
