The Great Lobsterman Challenge

An exciting event that happens each year during the Shelburne County Lobster Festival - participants compete for the grand prize in lobster related challenges. Rope Coiling, baiting and shacking a lobster trap, rope splicing, get your gear on and lobster banding. It's an exciting and entertaining night at the Sandy Wickens Memorial Arena.
Live entertainment and a lobster shelling competition also takes place, getting the audience involved in the evening!
