‘In The Flesh?’ is the opening track to Pink Floyd’s 1979 album ‘The Wall’. Written by Roger Waters, the track sets up the concept of the album. Taking place at a rock concert, it introduces the album’s main character, Pink. ‘In The Flesh’ a reprise of the track, appears as track 21 on the album. Both tracks share a name with the band’s 1977 ‘In The Flesh’ tour behind the album ‘Animals’. #PinkFloyd #InTheFlesh #TheWall #1979

Im 14 and my dad used to walk around saying this line when I was little “So you thought you might like to go to the show” and I just recently discovered Pink Floyd and was listening to the wall and realized that he got that from in the flesh.😂

The one song that can force anyone to listen to an entire album.

This (the second in the flesh) is my favorite song of all time. It’s the first Pink Floyd song I ever heard and it’s the reason I found more of their music. It’s also so catchy, kinda reminds me of “tomorrow belongs to me” from cabaret in that way.

The Wall will forever be an album with a lot of feeling, trauma, sweet, bitter and, above all, unique. Something like this will never be repeated in history, we are happy to have been able to appreciate this wonderful masterpiece!!!

Nothing will beat the time me and my brother went to the 02 arena in London… I never thought I’d ever have the chance to see them play in real life…. And although they were not a complete band… the atmosphere was so different than anything I’ve experienced in my entire life.
I’ll never forget that night…. Seeing Dave come up over the wall that was being constructed during the whole show was so poetic…

Pink Floyd are the reason o even picked up a guitar.

I’ll forever be a true fan of everything they gave to this planet.
Forever grateful. 😊

I am convinced that even Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Wagner would have liked to participate even just as session men on a Pink Floyd album...

The best music of all time💫
