“I’ve been with PRS for more than a decade. This is the best guitar I have ever played.”
– Zach Myers, Shinedown

The SE Zach Myers has enough features to satisfy even the most demanding musicians. The resonance of the semi-hollow body paired with the smooth feel of the satin finish neck will make an immediate impression in your hands. Featuring a chambered mahogany body with maple cap, flame maple veneer, and single f-hole, the SE Zach Myers provides smooth mid-range tones with a natural, resonant internal reverb. The 22-fret, 24.5” scale length wide fat neck boasts a satin finish that gives the guitar a very comfortable, woody, worn-in feel. Additional appointments to the PRS SE Zach Myers signature model include a PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, vintage-style tuners, and 245 “S” pickups paired with two volume and two tone controls and a 3-way toggle pickup switch.

Zach Myers, lead guitarist of the multi-platinum rock band Shinedown, picked up a PRS Custom 22 at the age of fifteen and announced his first SE signature model in 2010. As a guitarist who has rocked PRS on the stage and teched for several PRS bands, Myers has an intimate understanding of how a guitar should feel and what the build quality should be.

Just found this guitar used. Dude before me likely never played it. Awesome find. It plays like a 2500- 3k guitar as Zach said. PRS for life!

Agreed! I’ve owned my ZM PRS for three years. It plays outstanding. It looks fantastic. It’s my favorite guitar.

Had mine for nearly 3 years and has been my #1 since bringing it home! I don't see myself parting ways with it!

I own the exact same one! We have the same taste, when I saw this guitar I bought it right away and I haven’t played any other of my guitars since! And the price for the quality is unbelievable! The sanded gloss less neck is amazing!!THX for this affordable gem 💎👍🏻🇨🇦

I picked up a used 2016 Zach Myers at Guitar Center in September of 2018.
Q05840 I think. It is the vintage burst finish and like most itchy guitar players, I went ahead and made it my own.
Pickup swap to the lowest output set from Dimarzio I could find, (EJ Customs) Kluson locking tuners with gold Gotoh buttons.
Repro logo on the headstock, amber knobs, strap locks, personalized Truss Rod Cover, McCarty style coil tap, the works.

Basically, it looks as close to a SE version of a McCarty SC Semihollow as I could get it to.
While I made the ZM my own, as I mentioned, the fact that this is THE guitar I continuously gravitate to 7 months on means something ( and I do have a hot-rodded Gretsch semihollow ).
Named her Selah.
If anyone with Zach's number sees this, I would like him to know that I am one of the many who finds this as "a cool guitar that people would love to play"
After modding the heck out of her, I think Selah looks even more like a Private Stock guitar than ever.

The best SE ever made. Mine needed alittle bit of setup but that's not zachs fault lol. This thing can play ANYTHING from worship to metal. Owning 10 different guitars would be awesome but for someone who can't afford that, it's great to have a guitar that can play whatever the situation demands. The only thing that this thing is missing versatility wise is a coil tap but honestly with how snarly the pickups can get I don't thing the guitar needs one at all. This thing can stand toe to toe with any les Paul or American Paul reed. People will have their preferences as to which sound they like more but build quality and sound wise you can't honestly say that the ZMS is worse.

It is a badass guitar but also those off-white chicago 1's are so dope!

Such an excellent guitar for the money! I played one several times in the store and would have bought it, if I hadn’t already bought the S2 Semi-hollow. I absolutely love the satin wide-fat neck on this!

I have a 93 Studio, ebony fretboard. The "good wood" era. My Zach Myers with DiMarzio PAF smokes it out.

I LOVE LOVE mine but better tuners please (don't change the look though). Got mine used in mint condition. The guitar is insanely playable. I use mine with an Amplifire which can do any amp/cab simulation.

I own one of these in a limited run sun burst finish. I think it's a decent guitar and fair value, but does have its limitations. It doesn't want to stay in tune (probably a mix of tuners and nut cut) and intonation had definitely not been set at the factory. Also, and not really a criticism, but need to be aware the neck on these things is seriously chunky.
