As an animator I watch vox videos ONLY for the animations & I'm get amazed every time....tbh tho I get a bit jealous and angry because at the end in the credits I see the name of the animator and sometimes the animator is also the presenter...what make me jealous/angry is that when I google that person I find out that that person is mainly a journalist, I'm like you're better at animating than even though it's not what you mainly do!?

David, really neat analysis. two follow-up thoughts:

1. For animators: Are there any existing AI tools besides After Effects that can deliver animated explainer videos with animation templates, presets... similar to what VOX produces? (I'm guessing VOX hasn't done this...yet)

It would be great to have more accessible tools to make this style of video. And combine this tool with a few other strategies in earlier shorts. " Olivia..."


2. David, would it be worthwhile to set up a Facebook group or Discord server for your founder followers?

It could be a place to collaborate and post insights we gain from this explainer video and your other shorts like "Olivia Rodrigo didn't WRITE drivers license." We could work together to iterate on and test VOX's growing list of effective journalism strategies. A community platform might help your growing community to further develop and apply what we're learning from your content.
