I put the headphones on and, as I heard the shots ring out, I could clearly discern shots from two different directions. I've been a lifelong Republican, but if he was the nominee for the Democratic ticket and happened to win, I would not even feel upset or worried for the country. I can't say the same for any other Democratic nominee within the last few decades. People forget that not too long ago, the other side of the ticket was represented by people who are similarly minded to RFK, we are so far apart on the other side of the aisle nowadays, the Democratic party is a completely different organization than it ever was, it's unrecognizable.

I was a teen when JFK was assassinated. I was in my typing class when our teacher told us the news. We were crying because he was a beloved President. Many felt LBJ was involved with the CIA because Kennedy didn't want the Viet Nam war and LBJ did. First thing LBJ did was get us into that horrible war, drafting 18 yr old kids. Many of my friends died in that senseless war and many more are still suffering. One young kid told me how he had to shoot kids with bombs wrapped on them. He never recovered from the stress of that. It was our young guys or the kid. One thing I like about Trump is he kept us from war. May not like his tweets but he did us well otherwise. You don't have to like him, but he can fix the USA.
