Watched him every Saturday night. The love boat was amazing to me. Growing up poor and in the Midwest, it felt like going on vacation every Saturday. RIP.

Heartbreaking news. I remember Gavin MacLeod from The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Love Boat. Both shows are from my childhood. I was in high school when The Love Boat was still on TV in the 80's. I also saw Gavin in a couple of Christian films. One was called Time Changers, and the other one was called The Secrets Of Jonathan Sperry. He was a talented actor, and seemed like a genuinely nice guy, as well.

We have been losing way too many celebrities lately. Today, we lost B.J. Thomas, one of my favorite country singers, to lung cancer.

My heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of these two men. May they rest in peace.
