Nate, being the husband of a paramedic/emt, I can tell you that you went into a non-conscious state and were very forturnate and blessed to have someone there to do CPR because your heart rate probably dropped limiting the water intake into the lungs to preserve you. Also, I don't push religion on anybody, however since you addressed it, there is nowhere in the bible that we see God or Jesus in a near death or in a non-concious state. And furthermore, no two people's experience is the same. Some may see a light, some hear a voice, some see nothing but you are unique and so would your experiecne in that state would aslo be unique. If you did not die medically, then you wouldn't have seen anything because the eyes you would see anything spiritual with woudn't have been your natural eyes because they would no longer function if your brain has no activity. On the spirit side, the fact that you are still here with all the things and close calls that you've been through let's your spirit know that there is a purspose for you that has not been completed. Not calling you an angel or nothting but, you bring a joy and uplift many peoples lives that may have had a stressful or tramatic day (myself included), Take the time you need and if you have questions, talk to HIM. There is no one's prayer he won't listen to. He wants that relationship. Lastley, you the "fam" got you. We aren't going anywhere and wil be here when you're ready.
