The character movement script in the project doesn't move along the axis as it should, how would one edit it so that it moves correctly?

I have the same version of unity as in the video and I have everything else but the tilemap package that the tutorial used (around 2:07 or 2:08). I can't find it in mine.

I tried the demo and ran into problems, the character actually doesn't sort very well with walls, you can see her feet sorting in front of the elevated blocks. Also the witch technically can't stand behind walls, since collisions don't understand elevations, is there a way around this?

I have a question, Is the hex tilemap at 0:26 a regular hex or isometric ? I would love to see that scene added into the project :)

Looks very promising!! Is there a way to make a character jump onto an elevated area? (not using a ramp, just a jump)

Like, maybe a way to tell it "ignore these colliders when a character is jumping, stop ignoring when it hits the ground"... But you'd need a way to make sure you didn't accidentally land INSIDE the colliders (eg, on the wall)..

Edit: oh wait, you'd also need to make sure you didn't show up behind the sprite you're trying to be on top of... Dang.

so i tried this with my own flat tiles, but my flat tiles are at a angle instead of flat on the tile map. i am new to all of this so i am unsure what to do to fix it. any help would be appreciated i have already made several sprite sheets and am dead in the water.
