I've literally been to the Museum in Minnesota, the one the slippers were stolen from, for a school field trip. its a museum about the person who played Dorothy. Her childhood home is part of the museum, i got to go in there and walk around her living room and kitchen- and i remember the staff telling us about the theft.

100 percent please do the glass slippers. There’s an exhibit in Seattle that has all of the live action Disney movie costumes right now too and I believe they have the glass slippers from from the live action cinderella that came out several years ago or something so you should look into that!

While i know it's two different things, the ruby slippers just instantly took me to one of Hans Christian Andersen's stories The Red Shoes and how tragic and near gruesome it is; at some point in it, the main character had to plead to an executioner to lop off her feet because she couldnt stop dancing in those red shoes and for the life of her she was never able to take them off, and for the next few Sundays everytime she tried to go to church to repent for everything she did, the disembodied dancing feet that was still stuck to the shoes would be in front of the church door and terrify her.

Maybe you can try look into that along with Cinderella's glass slippers too some time :3c
