There’s a lot of problems Darth Vader has with lightsaber duels. Because of his mostly mechanical body he can’t raise his arms all the way behind his head. So Vader had to learn new Lightsaber styles to fit his mechanical bodies limitation. It’s one of the reasons why he almost lost to Maul.
