I love the idea of a scandi folder. I carry my MSK 2.5 in pocket and it's been a wonderful EDC knife. The 2.5 is clear coated on the spine which kinda takes away the Ferro rod striking ability - I'd like to see if this one has the same issue or if it does do well as a scraper.

that's one of the knives my bro was looking at...he's been looking for a folding scandi grind....he's prefer a drop point, but for a Tops knife he could make an exception...but the Finn Wolf from Cold Steel is his first choice...due to budget considerations...

That’s a nice knife !! I’m glad I’m not the only one who throws out the wrong term micarta vs. G-10 etc usually I’m thinking the right word I. My head lol

Hey Doc,
I would REALLY suggest you to test that lock.
I had the knife, it was horrible, had blade play and lock was not holding a simple slap or light tap on a book
It's looks cool, but doesn't hold as a knfie I think. Just my experience tho...

I love TOPS, but this just ain't doing it for me. The fixed blade mini-scandi is sweet, though.

I like it but, with so many other companies that have perfectly executed folding knives….. Tops should stick to what they perfected. Fixed!
