The class width is only the "number of numbers" in the class when you're dealing with integers. A better way to describe the class width is as the difference of corresponding limits in consecutive classes. In this example, either 30 - 20 or 39 - 29 would give you the class width of 10 (as would 60 - 50 or 49 - 39). This definition works even when your data aren't integers (and has the added bonus of emphasizing the uniformity of the class width across all classes).

For the class width, you actually round down instead. It’s weird but is true

He did a mistake 8.4 rounding up =8 because 5 to 9 is u round up and 1to 4 is to keep the number and remove 4
