Put the nose side of the key fob against the Nissan Pathfinder START/STOP ignition button and push to operate the ignition switch. It probably works by induction, like in a Mercedes.
Older Benzes with the thicc turn key, you can still start the car normally even with a dead key battery.

I've actually had to do it because of a weird electrical issue, doesn't start normally with the battery in 🙃

Yes because the battery is just to give the keyfob a longer range, sometimes when you park and forget where you park is very useful.

I got a problem with my new key fob in my nissan rogue 2022. The key works right but I need to put the key really close to the start buttom to start the engine. How can I fix that?
