How do you like our USBzilla monster in the thumbnail?

I think someone at Zotac said they should advertise to "minors" and someone in marketing got confused.

This AMD USB issue is so annoying. This entire time I’ve been thinking that it’s my USB devices at fault… with my SD card reader, external HDD constantly dropping connection.

The biggest thing that drove AMD recognizing the USB issues is the HP Reverb G2 VR headset having consistently bad errors with X570 and other Ryzen motherboards. A lot of users blamed HP initially for their HMD being at fault, but Intel platforms simply don't suffer the issues. The HP Reverb G2, just like the Oculus Rift when it launched, exposed how the AMD implementation of USB just didn't live up to spec. HP approached AMD in response to users bringing up the issues with them, which HP were unaware of prior to launch.

The hash rate halving only works for the current ethereum algorithm. Other aglos can still be mined at full steam, and I don't think Nvidia can win a software fight against the crypto community.

The random USB drops were killing me and I thought it was just me alone! Thanks to GN coming in to save my sanity!

Curious to see how Intel plays their cards this year. I definitely don’t have any regrets getting 2060 when my 760 died last year in may. ☕️

So all tech companies outsourced manufacturing to east asia and two decades later they want extra subsidies from the government to bring them back.

Nvidia: "We want gamers, not crypto miners, to have our newest GeForce cards"

Also Nvidia: Sold those same cards to crypto miners for hundreds of millions of dollars

not a miner, but for the sake of hardware/software freedom, i dont appreciate nvidia limiting what people do with their processed data, under the guise of helping supply, i much rather one card that can do anything than two cards with dumb limitations

I worked at that Samsung semiconductor plant back in 2005, really nice place actually.

I am so glad that I upgraded my PC right before the pandemic. I mean, I only got a RTX 2060, but these days its impossible to get anything.

I have had this USB issue on B450 for as long as Zen 2 has existed. This issue is years old, not months.

NVIDIA: We have a supply and demand problem, we cant get chips in fast enough, so lets subdivide the lineup even further so that we can get even less chips to satisfy demand! Fukin brilliant, if the fab's cant keep up with 3 chips making them do 9 will surely be faster

Ha! Zotac seems to be becoming more of a joke each day. They really need to get their shit together.

I'm on a b-350 and suddenly about a month ago I started having all sorts of usb issues. Got a windows update yesterday, and so far hasn't happened since. Dunno if that's related, but wanted to share in case any other b350 owners were having the same issue.
