Shadowing A Heart Surgeon In High School

I'd really appreciate it if the woman being interviewed, or any other people with experience could answer a quick few questions of mine. How old were you when you first started formally shadowing doctors? How did you make the most out of each day that you shadowed the doctors? How do I gain exposure to medicine if I'm considered too young to shadow doctors at most practices?

I think it's outrageous that you were allowed into the room as a high schooler when someone was dead on the table in a heart surgery. There is nothing inspirational or positive about your experience. It was completely unethical.
