BLATANT LIES the AAF TOLD US

Let’s admit it. We’ve all lied - and most of the time our untruthfulness is inconsequential.

Sure that dress looks good on you, honey. We’re on our way - be there in 15. I don’t have homework. And that check is definitely in the mail.

These lies are harmless - nobody really gets hurt if you really don’t like Michael Bolton.

Then there are lies that are so huge - entire livelihoods are ruined by them.

Today we’re going to examine the gargantuan lies and untruths that the AAF and others told us, and that’s coming up, right after this.

The frustrating thing is everyone wanted the AAF to succeed. The XFL was controversial enough that we didn't really care to see it go and I expect the same thing next year, but the AAF was the D league we wanted regardless of the NFL. It was just good football in a football-less part of the year. If only it was managed differently.

It makes me sad about all the people now out of jobs. I personally wish Vince had accepted the deal in the fall to Merge the AAF with the new XFL and launch in 2020 with 16 Teams, Two conferences (Conference A and Conference X) and a lot of fun Spring Football with enough financial backing to last for at least 3 years.
