Great to see you liked the Grenadier so much! We're currently on a 5-year trip in a Grenadier across the world towing a Patriot X3, which we live in. We set off from London in mid-July 2023 with our two young kids and we’re approaching 50000km. At least 70% of our journey has been off-road...

Not a snorkel, not water proof. What you're looking at it a raised air intake to keep dust out. It comes standard with 33 inch tires, but can take up to 35 with a 2 inch lift and a very minor mod to the front part of the front wheel well. The Grinadier is not a rock crawler but still had great articulation. It's a purpose built overland wagon made to last a long time. These things are awesome. Way better than the original old school Defenders, which although tough, are wrattle trap farm trucks that happen to also look cool. There are pros and cons, but overall, well done.

I'm buying one spring 2025. Heading down to Loreto, Baja California, to my house there. I am planning a 6 week baja excursion, stopping and staying at several jewel spots that I have on my list. Grenadier Baja excursion here we come

It’s a retro Defender with a B58, what’s not to love. This thing is so cool!

Love this thing. Retro aesthetic yet fully featured and well thought out. Seen a couple in the Toronto area putting around and they look awesome.

Ready for zombie apocalypse. Those exterior door rails are where you mount your rocket launchers and machine guns

Thank you for the video, but……….. when you focus on switches and the “tool belt” and don’t acknowledge the robustness of the frame and the cardon front axles and full floating rear axles, high pinion clearance…….. then complain about the price it demonstrates that you not only don’t know what the Grenadier is it shows you don’t know what your jeeps lack. Watch “Dirtbox Overland’s” review and watch Ronny Dahl’s series of not review but driving, modifying and touring the Grenadier. $76, 500+- gives you everything, anymore is junk that doesn’t advance the purpose of the Grenadier, heated seats pfufff.

Those Recaro seats are the most comfortable SUV seats I’ve ever sat in!

The extra pair of lights on the grill are not for fog. They are offroad lights, that can be lit when offroad mode is engaged.

Loved this review Casey! Very well done. I might have one of these in my future in the next couple years 😉

I drove one recently, just sold my LJ. I've driven a bunch of the four door Wranglers which I like. This one is a different animal. It's really a great product. It's snaller than a Suburban, more useful than a Tahoe. Far better than the Bronco. I think people need to drive it and see for themselves. It's a little expensive but maybe not when you figure out what mods you don't need to do.

I am not in the market but I am curious about the features of the Grenadier. Thanks Casey for the review.

My highly mod Jeep JL days may be numbered! This thing looks awsome!
If Jeep doesn't take note of this, then they will loose customers like myself.
Great video as always

23:15 complaining over no heated steering wheel really is crazy lmao

Great vid. I’d love to know real world mpgs with it loaded like that. Not 55 mph on a flat highway. Mix it up- stop and go, highway at 70 mph in the mountains, low range crawling, high range dirt roads. Given the not huge fuel tank and rather poor EPA numbers before an mods or loaded, this would be extremely useful data to have. Maybe a future vid?

The engineers and designers definitely took lots of aviation ideas to build this. ✈️

The rails on the doors are called "airline rails". They are used in cargo planes to secure the cargo.

Super cool rig! They should change the gear selector to look like the control stick of a fighter jet. Ha

I have been eying this vehicle for a while and would be really interested to see another review in six months, as you mentioned.

These are awesome and I would love to buy one but the dealer network is very poor, nothing in Atlantic Canada

The walk around the stationary truck was done 6 months ago by everyone. I was kinda hoping to see some on/off road testing. Ya know gove us a reason why to buy it over the cheaper Rubicon or Bronco w the factory 35s.
