how to fix putty network error: connection refused problem SOLVED

What causes Network error: Connection Refused errors?
The error can occur due to several reasons. Some of them are listed below.

The users may encounter “Network error: connection refused” error:
If the application tries to access the services not offered/supported by the server
If the application tries to connect to a telnet server not supported by the server.
If your router blocks the connection due to security reasons.
If the server does not support the default port used by the system administrator on PuTTy.
Firewall restriction
puttyserver is not install or service is not running

To figure out if ssh is is installed I used "apt-cache policy ssh" in CLI. Thanks for firewall tip!

Thanks for this informative video, however i am loosing the GUI access to eve-ng if i enable ufw, but if disable i am able to get connected to eve-ng web access, my issue is that when i am trying to take the cli access of fortigate fw on even-ng it show me connection refused . please guide me .

if I enable ufw enable then I cannot access eve ng from browser. but by disabling it works however I am still getting network error: connection refused. please help

hello, i was connecting raspberry pi to my laptop through ethernet cable using ssh protocol of putty, once by mistake i disabled ssh in raspberry pi, and now i am not able to connect raspberry pi to my laptop using putty, i am not able to open raspberry pi to enable ssh in pi, and because of this i can not connect raspberry pi to my laptop, how can i connect raspberry to my laptop without ssh protocol using ethernet cable, your help will be appreciated.
