I don't know about other people but I find small cars really cute and nice. I hate driving big cars, but it's all fun and spacious when I'm not driving. The interior is also so cute and unique

I have a Smart and live in a rural area.  I wish you had said the Smart makes complete sense in this environment too.  Since I always drive alone the Smart makes perfect eco sense anywhere.  That was an awful comment you made about looking elsewhere for a frugal car because the Smart requires premium gasoline.  Smart states that premium fuel extends the range of MPG's.  And premium is the "most nutritious" gasoline for any car so it should be used anyway.  I'd like to see a photo of the million dollar parking space.  And generally speaking, our cities are overcrowded because people have too many babies--the worst thing for our environment.

I have had three smart cars all the last 3 models but all using petrol not electric. I loved all of them. They all fun and had major plus points making them feel a much better option than my former ford fiesta.

I got passion smart 4 two I love it it's economical it's automatically it's orange I love it it turns on a sixpence it has sports mode for overtaking if u need it .loads room in the boot .

One complaint from me ... why don't they offer what I would call a "normal automatic transmission" (without any clutch or shifting). I hate manual cars, even though I know they can add speed.

Not a deal breaker in the US, but Mercedes dropped the gorgeous CDI diesel engine in the fall of 2015, here in the United Kingdom.
I already own a 2010 Passion CDi, so was hoping that the new 2016 model would continue with the diesel option.

The diesel offers supreme fuel economy, and was the main reason i have not bought the newer model.

I m happy that a car was built in Hambach (Moselle/Lorraine) in France was sale in the United States.Each time I went in the USA I didn't see a lot of this model but it exist in this country.I have a question, can we drive in 75 MPH now in the USA?

I'm wondering if the Smart's matte gray panel is like the one offered on some BMWs and Hyundai where it's matte paint. Where one has to pay extra attention when hand washing the car as not to smooth out the matte finish. I understand that for the Hyundai, they give you a special hand washing kit and make you sign a document stating that improperly washing it will ruin the finish.
Or with the Smart you tested, the plastic panel is actual grey plastic. If it's just grey plastic, then I would go that route. The only thing one has to worry about is the painted Tridion Cell.

Word on the streets is that they can't fix fuel tank issues. This will make a sweet beater as used prices plummet. Manual please

For less money, I can buy a Honda Fit that seats 5 people, has more cargo space and drives more miles per galon. The Smart for two should be cheaper in proportion to what it gives.
