A Subaru Impreza can overheat for a number of reasons, including:
Thermostat
A faulty thermostat can prevent the engine from cooling down.
Radiator fan
If the fan isn't working, the engine will overheat until more air flows over it.
Blocked radiator
A blockage can prevent antifreeze from flowing through the radiator, which can cause overheating.In your case because yu can still drive far i conside it to bre faulty thermostat or blocked radiator and also your fan speed might be slow thats my opinion.

Wow. Awesome Vlog! One of the reasons I followed is that I drive a similar car. We must all admit that the Subaru Impreza GH series is quite hardy and resilient. The car is dependable, to say the least, and can withstand some tough expeditions. However, I am here calculating the total amount you spent on fuel alone because I know it can be quite thirsty thanks to the AWD system and the weight

This is real grit. Amazing 👏. After SA and Namibia, Zambia🇿🇲 and Malawi 🇲🇼 are quite off, to say the least, and they've got some way to go. TZ and Kenya cleaned things up in the end.
