"Don't worry the meter say's it's only 3 Sieverts."
The meter only measures up to 3 Sieverts

If this 'special military operation' is going according to plan I don't wanna know how a failure looks like.

They're not radioactive tanks, they're "Special glow in the dark operation tanks".

People say “play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”
I can’t think of a stupider game than invading a peaceful neighboring country, “capturing” a nuclear wasteland, digging trenches in the toxic soil, and then laying in it for a month.

The Russian incompetence in literally everything is stunning.

Putin: Have the soldiers secured the area?
Shoigu: They dug trenches in the radioactive soil sir.
Putin: Not great, not terrible.

I'm seriously starting to wonder if Putin played too much Fallout and Red Alert and thinks exposing his troops to lethal amounts of nuclear radiation will somehow turn them into "Super Mutants/Brutes".

It's as if Putin wants Russia to keep up with the reputation they gained in such tv series as Chernobyl.

Whoever were the Russian military planners deserve a medal .... from Ukraine! Ukraine can send it by mail, posthumously perhaps.

Like when I first heard the Russian's captured Chernobyl I had a simple thought "Congratulations the area of one of the world's greatest nuclear meltdowns is now your problem to deal with"

The Russian soldiers were told to take out Ukrainian electricity network, so they bombed a nuclear power plant. They were told to fortify Chernobyl, so they dug trenches. They were told to shoot down any planes in the sky, so they shot down their own jets. They were told to maintain order in Ukrainian towns, so they shot civilians. This is the Russian way.

I’m sorry it’s hilarious that a so called powerful army can be so daft ...

Patients with acute radiation syndrome (ARS) classically go through four clinical phases: prodrome, latency, manifest illness, and either recovery or death. During the prodromal phase, they usually present with nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and even loss of consciousness at higher doses. With neurological symptoms like dizziness, headache, or decreased level of consciousness, occurring within minutes to a few hours, with an absence of vomiting, and is almost always fatal, even with aggressive intensive care. Most people who die from radiation sickness are killed by infections or internal bleeding. Dying from ARS is a terrible way to die.

Geez, it's not enough that Russia's forces behave like Genghis Khan's horde; they could literally glow in the dark too.

It would be quite funny if they brought this radioactive soil back to the Belarus staging grounds with the tracks of their vehicles.

A documentary on military fails in the past century would actually be a great thing.
