So this is the new JBL Xtreme 3… its essentially a refined version of the JBL Xtreme 2 but there are some key improvements and differences to point out. Some of which I like and some others not so much. But regardless if you’re looking for a portable bluetooth speaker that you can use at home but also take on the go with you… I don’t think you can go wrong with the Xtreme 3.

Got the Extreme on offerup for 70 dollars, no charging cable but found one at the Goodwill for $1.50
Removed the grill and washed it up and looks brand new now. Great deal

I tried the extreme 3 in a shop and it sounded amazing.the highs where crisp while the bass was balanced and in no way sounded woofy.

Great review!
The sound pallet may be updated in the future though via software. They did this with the Xtreme 2 as well.
You could update it via the app and after it sounded much fully, more balanced.

Everybody is forgetting that Xtreme 3 has usb c port which means you can charge the speaker with a portable battery power bank. Now you can play your music all day without worry about the battery dying. For this reason I’m getting the Xtreme 3 but I’ll wait until it goes on sale.

At first the new design looked stupid but I’m starting to dig it. Kind of like a throwback to the original logo they had on their og speakers. Looks more durable as well.

Jbl has extreme 2 on sale for 150 dollars, therefore there are no rationale to pay 2x more for extreme 3.

I love my Xtreme 2 I got 1 month ago I haven’t heard the Xtreme 3 but judging from what people have been telling me is that it’s not worth spending extra also you won’t be disappointed with the Xtreme 2 it has insanely crisp sound quality deep punchy bass and it gets loud asf without distortion it also is well balanced

I don't understand why people like the treble on the Xtreme 2, The Xtreme 3 has much more quality and more clear treble, it sounds better and the bass is amazing, i think JBL did an amazing job with the Xtreme 3

It's so fantastic that the Xtreme 3 Charges through type C, and appears to charge using the Power Delivery standard, meaning if you have a USB C power bank that supports PD charging it should fast charge the Xtreme 3
