I hate everything about this book, no one talks about how Ben literally stalked Fallon, sexually assaulted her and literally had abusive thoughts for her when she tried to run away from him, y'all must love toxic relationships

Haven't finish the book yet but so far, i hate it. It felt like i was reading a daydream fantacy land of some men who have 0 bitches and doesn't know how to talk to girls, like wtf ? Why would u tell a girl, on the FIRST day you meet, who isn't even flirting w with, that u thought of her in her underwear ??? What makes u think it was a good idea ? Try that irl and any girl will think ur a weirdo cause IT IS weird. I swear Ben can sometimes act like such a creep

You enjoyed this book? My sister is a burn victim. She had an accident in the kitchen when she was in high school and has scarring because of it. When I heard about this book I was horrified. How dare Colleen Hoover sit there and write a book about an abusive relationship where the burn victim has no self confidence. I understand what she was trying to do, but it is in incredibly poor taste for her to write about burn victims as if they have no self confidence and are doomed to be stuck with people who will use that knowledge to abuse them throughout their relationships. The most disturbing part is that she writes the book as though this relationship is normal. It’s not. This is offensive and for people to read this book and give it five star reviews is, quite frankly, ignorant. Not only does she exploit the character’s self confidence issues because she is a burn victim, but she uses it as a fetish. WHY IS THE ENTIRE BOOK BASED ON TURNING A HORRIFIC EVENT INTO A FETISH? To use burn victims, who genuinely have self confidence issues because of their scars, as a way to make your character insecure is disgusting.

The book really was good in the first half and then suddenly the Jordyn situation happened and I was like fucking shocked...
I really wished Fallon was thinking too deeply but when Ben accepted the fact, l knew that this was the point from where the book is really getting messed.
Although the ending was satisfactory, I still don't feel Fallon should have forgiven Ben after knowing what he did to her😢😢😢
