In "It ends with us" Lily finally left her abusive husband for her daughter because she never wanted her daughter to suffer what she had gone through
The last few lines of the book were --
((Lily is saying to her new born daughter))
"It stops here. With me and you. It ends with us. "

This indicates that she has finally stopped the cycle of abuse Because Lily's mother had suffered abuse and she had suffered abuse but she won't let her daughter suffer abuse

I don't know about other CoHo books because I haven't read them but I actually loved reading "It ends with us" .I literally cried when I read the last few lines.

I love love love it ends with us and it starts with us though there was some speculation on the abusive relationship, I don’t think it was romatisized, because the ending trope was more of an it was always you type thing so I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving that book
