Remembering Michael Angelis

It's been a year since Michael Angelis died. I can never forget that dreadful day of his death. He was the UK narrator for Thomas the Tank Engine from Seasons 3-16, and also a TV actor in other British TV shows he was most known for like The Liver Birds.

Last time a Thomas narrator died to a heart attack was when American comedian George Carlin died. Angelis's death reminded me on how Carlin died, except he died 12 years before Angelis's death to a heart attack. And no, his death really has nothing to do with COVID guys, it had to do with a heart attack. But speaking of which, I have heard about him as a kid when looking up the original UK Thomas on YouTube, and he was very memorable for all the reasons why. I even heard he did the US narrations for four Season 7 episodes and the two Pack episodes made for Season 6 on the "New Friends for Thomas" 2004 DVD, and I was impressed by his enthusiasm with the show.

In this tribute, clips of episodes from Seasons 3-16 would be used for the sake of remembering the longest serving UK Thomas narrator.

We will never forget a narrator from the UK who passed away last year to such a terrible and miserable fate.

Rest in Peace Michael Angelis (April 29th, 1944 - May 30th, 2020).
Thomas is owned by HiT/Mattel, not me.
