I would have preferred tradition and the continuity of history without all the gratuitous wokeness inserted everywhere. Why is everyone allowed to celebrate their culture and traditions except for those of European descent?

That grass in those pens behind the presenters, looks green and untrammelled considering the amount of rain from the day before. Does not look like anyone stood there; such an empty feel. A few public there ... but ... nothing really going on. The 'street party' near us, was a half a dozen picnic blankets and a few neighbours chatting ... no more than 40 people at most and half of them were children running about. I've seen more people at local village fayres. Seems so 'unreal', doesn't it.
