As of today, May 13th, 2024, out of more than 6 videos on COLOR THEORY I've watched, yours is the BEST and UNIQUE. It's because of the following reasons.
1. IT covers ALL the color terms I need for photography and design. The definitions are easy to understand and accurate.
2. It''s COMPREHENSIVE because it also shows how to create color palettes.

I feel like colour theory is important for many different people. For painters, sketchers, interior designers, photogrophers, editors, models, fashion designers, etc. This is a vital part of those jobs and a lack of this knowledge is what separates an amateur from a professional.

I'm not sure how you are using the black rectangle. Are you using it to judge both value and saturation? The value comparisons I can see when placed against the black rectangle, but I'm not sure I understand how you judge the saturation. Finally, in judging the values (and for that matter the saturations) are you aiming for an even gradation between values and between saturations, or are you looking for similar values/saturations, or are you just looking for what pleases you eye and what you know from experience will work. Thank you, this tutorial is very informative and presented so that it can be easily applied.
