Boy that is one PHAT TIP! I can see how to 3-up gang slit rubber bands (big ones) which is what I need to do. I'll use 2 PPE plates and just space them with pieces of the band itself. Low friction. I'll slit the end with a jigsaw and insert the blades there. I'll screw the assembly down with the rubber band started, insert the blades, and pull it around. We'll see how it goes. 💥

Making end trim for multi-wall greenhouse panel and needed a cheaper solution than the overpriced $2/ft U-channel at the big box store. Plus I can shape the tubing however I want and use a heat gun to remold it.

Not really. I've never had to split anything lengthwise to go through a firewall. Would you use that as a loom mechanism or something?
