I carry my .357 mag with four speed reloaders for the potential challenge. But it kinda backfires because it’s a S&W 27-2 with an 8 3/8th inch barrel. No concealing it. Criminals get scared when they see a big gun carried by a guy with situational awareness.

2013 Yuma, AZ: Was in a full barber shop waiting for my turn when a dude steps into the door way of a full glass wall and just stands in the door, weird behavior got my attention. Anyone can just look through the glass to count the heads of who’s in line, no need to do what he did. He was sizing up the room from his left to right. I was the last person he looked at while he was suspiciously holding something under his pants while holding up his pants at the same time. We lock eyes, he looks down at my left handed 9 o'clock thigh holstered hog leg then just turns and leaves without a word.

So my truck gun is (often not always) a lever gun henry .38 all weather, when its not a lever gun its a shot gun (typically a mosberg 590 mariner, [which us also my default "boat gun"] loaded with #6 shot) and my EDC is a Sig P-365... so I guess I'm all over the board....
