Yamaha VX deluxe 1100 engine oil filter leaking

This is the genuine engine oil filter from a 2009 VX Deluxe waverunner, the ski has only 69 hours on it from new, it began leaking oil into the bilge last ride. The cause is rust around the seam of the oil filter. I made a simple test rig, hooked up to compressed air at 40psi.
