I absolutely adore Johnny Depp and his character Capt. Jack Sparrow. The potc franchise would not make it without him, but to me Capt. Hector Barbossa is THE quinsentenual genuine pirate Captain.

The genious and craziness of barbossa will be so missed in the franchise... They dishonored the character in this last movie, making him a useless friend of the heroes. I haven't seen his true personnality during this film and I'm very disappointed because he was and will always be one of my favorite characters

Why the hell did they kill Barbosa over a poor sequel? This franchise needs him just as much as Jack himself. That was my favorite character from my childhood. I can't stop crying :(
