The reason I loved barbossa is while he was a pirate, a bad guy, then an anti hero, he always showed he had a sense of honor.

The man lived as a bad guy, and died as a bad guy. Was brought back and died once again only this time a hero. Characters like these live forever.

The poor girl, searched for her father all her life and lost him as soon as she found him.

Dude, every time I watch him call her treasure, I'm on the verge of tears, they did that so perfect, and his tone sounded like he was so happy, but so sad at the same time

Jack and Hector fought so much and were enemy's for so long but they always seemed to have a sort of respect and admiration of each other and u can see Jack's face and the moment of sadness as Hector dies that he realizes that the word from the last movie are coming true and he is now the last pirate left standing (all his pirate captain friends are gone now) and his true worst fear has come true he is alone (with exception of his crew)

Hector Barbossa being played by Geoffrey Rush is just as good as Johnny Depp playing Jack Sparrow.

I’ve always loved Barbosa. I never hated him once. He was such a memorable pirate, and then to find out he had a daughter it made him endearing. It was so sad that he couldn’t hug and kiss her and spend time with her. I just hated it to pieces. RIP Hector.

Earlier in the movie, Hector told the witch that as a pirate he was perfectly willing to die for his treasure. And so he did. Excellent scene.

The smile that Barbossa make when Carina found out the truth about him, that moment felt like he's the happiest man in the world. And with that, he had no regrets of sacrificed himself to saved his treasure...😔🥺😢😭

But jacks face really killed me, a look, a look that loosing and old and close friend, somebody that can sacrfise himself and a crew just to bring back jack from the end of the world
