Happy Valentine's Day but of course it wouldn't be a Valentine's Day to me if I wasn't giving some sort of communication tip that would improve couple's relationships and trust levels. Here it goes ! Frame your conversations. In other words set up the conversation for a success. If you want to vent to tell your partner can I please vent. Can I express myself and have you hear me without providing any solutions. In other words don't set up landmines so that your partner or the person listening to you has no idea what you need out of the conversation. Be clear with your need at the outset of the conversation. Frame your conversation!
