Someone I am very closed to was made political prisoner in a communist country in the 50s. He was sent to a labor camp for a year. He and his camp mates were chopping down trees and carried the logs down the mountain. Many of his camp mates became depressed. But he viewed the hard forced labor as an opportunity to exercise and body building. He is still living now in the USA. He is 95 years old. When he was asked what the secret is to live long, he said being naturally optimistic. Every turn in life is an opportunity to enhance future life.

This was one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to in months. And I listen to a lot of podcasts. I didn’t know about Ryan Hall before this but the guy is another level of dedicated and a general badass. Cheers Sir 🥂
