i think the best way of studying bridgman isnt actually copying his lines, but actually trying to understand what he's trying to tell us, like this one in the video where you copy the torso, you drew it straight on without anatomical structures first that's why it's actually out of proportion, i suggest you try to think and see how he made it, like seeing the structures inside and not just copying lines since it doesnt really give much knowledge, if you want to learn about the torso i suggest you learn about the major parts of it such as the ribcage to the pelvis and then learn the muscle groups after that you can now draw a nice full torso without copying anything from the book.

The lines look great but you seem to be missing the whole point. It seems to me that the point is how the shapes and forms fit together as a whole instead of line by line. Starting with the larger shapes and refining the drawing as you progress instead of trying to judge each line individually as you draw. Kind of like starting with the head shape and position, chest shape and position, pelvis shape and position then connecting the muscles after you get the general position and pose of the body. The bigger masses are the foundation and the smaller lines are the icing.
