Recipe & instructions below!
The most important part is the uncovered refrigerator time to dry out the chicken skin. I know I sound like a broken record on this but elevating standard home cooked food to another level of delicious lends its success 90% to the prep and of course great execution will take it the rest of the way from there.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound Chicken Wings
- 2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Pepper
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- Corn Starch (enough to coat the wings completely)
- 1.5 Cup Frank's Red Hot
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- 4 Tbsp Honey
- OPTIONAL: Ranch Dressing
Directions:
1. Dry Chicken Wings and put in Fridge for 24-48 hours uncovered
2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F & cover wings in salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika
3. Coat wings in corn starch
4. Put wings on baking sheet with wire rack then place in oven for 20 minutes then flip, 20 more minutes then flip again, and finally 10 minutes to finish
5. While wings bake, place frank's red hot, butter, and honey in saucepan on low heat
6. Remove wings from oven and place in container and cover in sauce then let come down from hot temperature to warm (not all the way down to room temperature) which takes 7-10 minutes
7. Serve and enjoy!
