As a proud owner of a Vostok Amphibia, I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. Well done, thank you.

A great presentation. I believe you could convert this into 52 weekly instalments and still have content for another 52 instalments. You are right when you say each of these sections are a rabbit hole.

If you've seen the inside of the vostok precision they're BEAUTIFUL. Gold plated movement and inner parts.

Interesting video, thanks 👍 I would also love to have a Urofa 59...I guess a Poljot Buran is close enough 🤩😂

Great review into russian/soviet watches! I should add that Okean 3133 is the most desirable of 3133 family chronographs.

I should point out that MOST WW2 german watches were Alpina and another swiss brand. $1500 is not uncommon but they are seen to go for $500. The $500 will be half wrecked but if you pay $2500 you will get a nice one with swastikas on the caseback and all.

Dear Ghosh and Friends. Do we have any Horology club to join? If not, could we start a club. I am interested in Horology and want to exchange knowledge with fellow enthusiasts. @Ghosh, thanks for a wonderful presentation and other watch review videos

UMF Ruhla.... if you've seen one apart they're like a kids wind up toy. Utter JUNK movements but like most east german things, they got for decent money.

Slava Televizor I have always know as the Slava "tank". NOT RARE at all, I have one, but highly sought after and not expensive but not as cheap as most run of the mill russian watches. Cheaper than seagull, pulseometer and the big zero. They were sold overseas as the Sekonda in England. Usually an automatic with 2427 movement but a few quartz come out at the end.

Spetsnaz is special forces. More connected to the KGB than anything else.

Where are you ordering these watches? How much are you paying for customs in India?

The Second Moscow Watch Factory is Slava, not Vostok. Vostok = Chistopol Watch Factory.
