In the latest development in the NEET results row, NTA has scrapped the grace marks of 1,563 students. The Centre informed the Supreme Court that the grace marks of 1,563 students who appeared for NEET-UG 2024 will be cancelled and they will have the option to either re-appear for the exam or accept their previous non-normalised scores. The court then said that a re-exam will be conducted. The exam is scheduled to be held on June 23, the results of which shall be declared on June 30, followed by the counselling process on July 7. Furthermore, the demand for an investigation into the paper leak will be heard on July 8.

Meanwhile, reacting on the NEET results, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the students who received grace marks will be given two options - either take the re-test on June 23 or accept the original score without the grace marks.
