Mechanical Project 3.
Flying On Flapping Wings By using Quick Return Mechanism

An ornithopter is an aircraft that flies by flapping its wings. Designers seek to imitate the flapping-wing flight of birds, bats, and insects.

Flapping wing miniature air vehicles (MAVs) offer several advantageous performance benefits, relative to fixed-wing and rotary-wing MAVs. The goal of this thesis is to design a flapping wing MAV that achieves improved performance by focusing on the flapping mechanism and the spar arrangement in the wings.

It looks pretty neat, but how are you compensating for the curve of the center linkage travel on each wing, as the wing lever nears the top or bottom, it is further away from the center line, and when it's level it's closest to centerline. Is there a sleeve or something to allow the wing levers to slide in and out?

it's angle of attack not change, and flapping frequency is not change
