How to Pre-Order a PS5

Due to COVID-19 this isn't like the other normal releases. Sony is sending out the first orders to a short list of people first. So it seems like anyone else will have to wait longer.

My Predictions: On their website it states it goes by your gaming activity and also it's first come first serve. It seems like this means we actually have to be activate on our PS Plus accounts and also be one of the first to register. Meaning someone who just made a PS account, for the first time, (who may not even own any a Playstation) isn't selected over someone who owns a Playstation and plays on a PS Plus account regularly. This would explain why they're asking for our PS IDs only as well. I doubt it's just selecting people at random because this wouldn't be fair to the loyal Playstation customers if an Xbox customer gets selected over us for example. Only because he or she made a PS ID a couple days ago... then there's a chance they wouldn't actually order anything after being selected. Meaning less money for Sony, an actual PS customer would happily complete a pre-order. So even of they don't care about us they care about their money.

This is not the only way to preorder. Every retailer will have these avalible once the global preorders go live.

Just some additional info you didn't mention in the video. One of the stipulations is that Sony has to choose you and that criteria will be based off of your profile. I'm thinking maybe they going to see whether or not it's a recent profile, or a never-used profile, or a rarely-used profile and determine if you get picked.
So if you're reading this you might want to start getting a couple more trophies, or buying stuff through the store.
